The dictionary definition of nostalgia feels incomplete to me. The dictionary says it is the desire to return to or the yearning for a past. I think it goes past these. I think nostalgia is feeling like the third photograph, feeling black and white and yet full of colour. Feeling mould at the edge of a memory. An old bicycle that still work. Clothes that still fit. Walls still standing.
