The first photograph is of a store. Built for a function, but in the moment this is taken, it is not in use, it is a shadow of itself. A copy we find pleasing still, even when not being used for its intended function. Tracing this vein of thought, I think the shadow in the second photograph is the of the chair in the third. And again the shadow is pleasing, maybe even more than the real thing. Or maybe it is actually the light all along.
