I think photography is truthful, not because it is objective, but because it isn't - I am what I see. Just before looking at these photos, I realise how important my hands are. How they are as important as anything else in this world. So, when I see the first photo, I see the important hands of a person. When I look at the other photos, I see the white top half of what was probably once a car sinking into the ground disappearing like everything will eventually - the houses in the background, the people in the last photo and the dream of the shop owner. But in this moment, it is all very important, as important as anything else in the world.
